Description
This course establishes a small independent learning community, providing flexible space for students to pursue individual topics related to their animation studies, in a dynamic group setting focused on dialogue and feedback.
Students will propose and chart individual curricular pathways with the following common threads: research on specific topics related to animation and visual expression, written and verbal analysis of those topics, and production of individual creative projects that reflect and engage with the topics studied. Students will each prepare demos of digital art/animation workflows to share with the group, showcasing various apps and programs to inspire the creative projects.
