Description
Unity Engine - Fundamentals to create games and
interactive experiences.
Students will learn how to use the video game
engine software Unity in a workshop environment.
In the last 10 years Unity became a leading
creative and innovative platform across the
industry and proved to be a fundamental asset to
many contemporary creators. Work from students
can range from games, performances with cinematic
elements, VR/AR, installations, or film. Conceive
worlds and places others can be immersed in, come
up with original game mechanic, create
interactive pieces and imagine new ways to entice
an audience.
Emphasis will be on a single project to be
completed by the end of Fall semester. Previous
experience in 3DCG, interactivity and programming
would be helpful.
Enhanced with VR! Students will be able to
develop projects using the HTC Vive and immerse
their audience even further into their world(s).
