Description
This class is Open to the Institute. Students
will explore a variety of animation techniques in
which media are directly manipulated, such as
paint on glass, sand animation, and direct
filmmaking (drawing or scratching on film, for
example). The course includes screenings of
animation and discussion of related works.
Students experiment with the techniques to create
short projects.
