Sound Design Lab for Project Development

Are you graduating and finishing a project? Do you want to do the sound design of your film / installation but it's been too long since you used Pro Tools the last time? Do you have a significant project that is awaiting you to finally do the sound design? This is a class for you.

This class will open with a quick review of Pro Tools, addressing doubts and questions you may have and demonstrating new techniques. After that, we will talk about the different approaches to tackle sound design for the projects we have in the group. With workshops inspired by and for the class projects, we will work on how sound is a key element to achieve and communicate what you want.

Towards the end, the format of the course will shift to individual and group critiques. And if your project is ready, we will prepare it for mixing! *Students preparing and/or in post production their thesis are encouraged to enroll.
