An advanced theoretical and practical workshop to
generate advanced projects, and foster a critical
and creative community amongst second and third
year students. This will be a development class,
though the paths towards developing narrative
work will be expansive, self motivated and,
hopefully, challenging to the assumptions about
process and methodology for narrative filmmaking.
Students must make substantial progress towards
a major work; this may be demonstrated in modes
as diverse as traditional scriptwriting to
documentary research, staging and performance
exercises to theoretical writings.
