Acting Bad

A course to de-construct acting and narration.
The main goal will be to define performance in
new, non-traditional ways. Students will develop
dialogues and/or narrations taken from real life
(court transcripts, overheard conversations) to
fictional (soap operas, novels) and poetic texts.
These texts will then be performed in class
emphasizing a multitude of executions. Each
performance will be recorded on video, studied
and then re-performed.
