This workshop will foster cinema-making
collaborations in the Zoom space with artists from
diverse disciplines including actors, puppeteers,
production designers, musicians, and dancers. Each
student will explore the intricate relationship
between text, performance, staging and technology
in traditional filmmaking forms, or redefined
narrative universes such as desktop filmmaking, or
Zoom "theater". The final project will comprise a
portfolio of several short works, or one ambitious
film made in collaboration with cohorts from
across the globe including students from other
colleges or institutes.
