Description
This course is an introduction to sand animation. Students will explore how noise--whether auditory, visual, or social--can be expressed through the shifting and fluid nature of sand. Emphasizing spontaneity and texture, the course encourages experimentation with abstract and representational forms.
Through hands-on exercises, students will learn to animate chaos and unpredictability, transforming noise into a visual narrative.
By the end of the course, each student will create a short sand animation that pushes the boundaries of conventional storytelling, using noise as a core element of expression.
