This course critically examines AI's evolving role in contemporary art, music, and interactive media. Students will explore AI-generated imagery, video, sound, and gameplay while interrogating the politics of automation, labor, authorship, and bias. Through hands-on projects, critical discussions, and artistic interventions, students will experiment with generative AI while questioning their implications in society. This course is designed to serve as an introduction to the contemporary currents of AI as it affects music, moving images, and contemporary art.
