Description
Through a balanced blend of formal techniques, emphasizing studio lighting, composition, and color theory, students will learn to capture their artworks and exhibitions with precision and panache. The course also covers gonzo iPhone photography and creative editing applications, encouraging students to use and make the most of tools that are readily available.
Students will tackle post-production, including image culling and retouching, to grasp the nuances of artwork representation, exhibition documentation, portfolio development, and establishing an online presence in a professional manner.
By exploring both traditional studio methods and mobile phone photography, students will gain a practical skill set, ensuring their works are represented authentically and compellingly, both in formal settings and in the realm of contemporary digital media.
