Description

Have you ever wondered what happens inside your brain when you are creating or looking at art? This course explores the neuroscience behind artistic experience, from the creative generation of ideas to how we perceive and emotionally respond to artworks. By examining perception, emotion, attention and creativity in context of both neuroscience and art, we will come to an understanding of how art expands the experimental and epistemological space of discovering unique insights into brain functioning. No prior scientific knowledge is required to join this course.
