Fundamentals of plectrum and fingerstyle guitar. Highly recommended for students interested in learning the basics in electric, steel string acoustic and nylon string guitar performance. We will work in a group lessons format to discover healthy approaches to technique, as well as the basic chord shapes, scales, strumming and finger-picking patterns that form the foundation of guitar
performance across a variety of styles. Students can expect to learn song structures, 'riffs', and chord progressions in a number of genres and from a wide selection of musical eras. Open to complete beginners, or to self-taught players who would like to build a solid foundation to supplement their personal practice from the ground up.
