Salsa Dancing

This course is an introduction to salsa dancing, a popular social dance form that emerged in the mid-1970s. In this fun and inviting class, students will learn about the history of salsa, the clave rhythm, basic individual footwork, simple turns, and alternating lead and follow roles. No prior experience is required.
