systems, and executing and installing the final
elements to achieve their full vision. It is a
project-oriented course, however a few reading
assignments will prepare students for engaging
with installation art on a theoretical level and
familiarize them with the current state of the
field. This course is not technically focused, but
some facility with software and electronics is
required. At the conclusion of the course,
students will conceive and execute their own
unique, original video installation. The
technological needs of the class will be supported
by TVID-455 Real-time Interactive Tools, which is
recommended to be taken simultaneously.
