Description
This class will be a hands-on, project-based
exploration of software programming techniques for
video production, presentation, and interactivity
as they relate to theater, dance, and
installation. The course will start with an
overview of timeline-based media server Watchout,
followed by the cue stack-based theatrical
playback software QLab. In the second half of the
semester, we'll pivot to an in-depth exploration
of Isadora, a node-based programming interface for
real-time video playback and processing.
