Description
This course is a culmination of two classes:
Welding and Working Metal. This course is the
direct application of techniqies taught in these
two courses using sculptural designs digitally
constructed in one of several 3d modeling
programs. During this class we will start by
looking at sculptural forms both manmade as well
as naturally occuring ones which we will brake
down into shapes that can be constructed using
metal working techniques. Once these shapes are
broken down we will use CNC equipment to create
templates for our metal patterns that will allow
us to start constructing in 3d.
