Description
An introductory class that will show students the
basic principles of welding of both ferrous and
non-ferrous materials. Topics will include
multi-position GMAW, GTAW, plasma cutting and
oxy-fuel cutting and brazing. This class is
taught as both a lecture and a lab with concepts
first being discussed and then applied in
hands-on assignments. This course is project
based and will revolve around both traditional
and non-traditional welding techniques with an
emphasis on theatrical scenic construction.
