Special Topics in Sound Design: Gear
This class focuses on exploring the cutting edge
resources available in sound design for live
performance. Topics are selected each semester to
highlight the particular needs of the present
students and/or as a reflection of the current
offerings of the professional theatrical
environment around us. Students will experience
an intense and specific study of a particular
topic's relevance to the modern sound designer.
Practical presentations and guest lectures as
well as professional performances will make up
the backbone of this course.
