By the end of this course students will be able
to
Understand the artistic and administrative
responsibilities of the stage management team in
all phases of theatrical production from prep
through closing
Describe the development of group relationships
during the production process
Negotiate resolutions to common interpersonal
conflicts that arise during production
Efficiently organize and communicate notes and
processes to creative and technical
collaborators
Understand basic principals of calling a complex
live performance, managing a challenging
backstage environment, and maintaining the
artistic integrity of a theatrical production.
