Cultural Policy Module 2: Research & Practice
Cultural policies operate implicitly and

lives, public and private. As artists and culture

knowledgeable critics of the institutions and
interests that form the environment and
conditions under which we practice, and for
participating in shaping the future of cultural
policies. Building on the work of Cultural Policy
Module 1, this project-based module provides a
research and laboratory environment for analyzing
an area of cultural policy and developing a
proposed intervention or policy that relates to
the student's area of
creative practice. This course will deepen the
investigation of the processes of cultural policy
making and the institutions and forces that
influence cultural policies.
