Description

Specifically for graduating BFA and MFA lighting students who have already passed Immersive Lighting, this class will cover advanced architectural and themed lighting design, as well as a summary of the business, economics and politics of lighting design. Half of the semester will be spent on designing a finished themed architectural project and the other half will help prepare students for the business challenges involved in a lighting design career. Special attention will be paid on individual style and presentation techniques, interview tips, public speaking and appearance. Contracts, professional affiliations, accounting and networking will also be covered.
