This course focuses on the role of the audience or

Through in-depth investigation of case studies
from theater, gaming, installations, activations,
and immersive journeys, the course will look at a
range of frameworks, strategies, methods, and
tactics for shaping individual and collective
experiences. Students will apply new knowledge on
embodiment, intimacy, agency, participation,
interactivity, and world-building to their own
short-form experiments, developed over the course
of the semester, both making for and acting as
audience and publics in each other's explorations.
