Description
Concentration on 20th C. 'art'isms ' which
influenced clothing, fashion and performance. We
look at specific artists whose concentration is
on the body as an instrument of expression,
blurring the boundaries between art and theater.
Students concentrate on individual projects,
removing the 'costume' from its traditional role
(usually appropriate to period, style, text) and
treat it as a discrete object, placing it within
the context of contemporary art.
