Description
In this class students will learn costume shop
orientation, shop safety and how to safely operate
tools and equipment that are common practices,
such as home and industrial sewing machines, steam
irons, and specialty
tools of the trade. Students will learn fabric and
commercial pattern usage and create a finished
garment by the end of the semester.
They will also learn fitting room conduct and
special garment finishing techniques.
Students should expect to spend an additional $50
on supplies.
