Description
Open to Acting Program students only.
This course prepares the student for dynamic
presence and precision in advanced acting
contexts via alignment and core conditioning
(floor barre), somatic awareness, image work, and
physical acting/performance techniques. Students
will generate and manipulate choreography and
action sequences in solo, duet, and trio forms.
We will also address character physicality, dance
genres, and improvisational/exploratory forms.
Assessment includes evaluation of in-class
participation, performance projects, and periodic
essays/reviews.
