practice of Speech for Acting. The work includes
the development of the actors listening,
transcription and articulation skills. Though the
instruction takes place in a group setting,
students are expected to put in substantial
personal practice outside of class. The
discipline and rigor that is required for the
actor to successfully utilize transformative
