Description

Beginning Sound and Video is a semester-long technical course for all BFA-1, BFA-2, and transfer students in the Photography and Media Program. The intent of this class is to introduce students to the fundamentals of audio and video production, including camera operation, lighting, and sound recording. Coursework in post-production techniques (editing, sound design, playback and installation preparation) will also be covered. Beginning Sound and Video serves as an overview of the basic principles and technical skills required for students beginning to use sound and video in their work.
