FS - Fall & Spring

This course is the third semester of the Musicianship Skills sequence. Advanced ear training and musicianship skills related to tonal relationships in music are developed. Coursework largely consists of transcription and singing exercises, further developing intervallic/harmonic/melodic comprehension, and exploring increasingly complex meters and rhythms. Extensive practice outside class time is required.
