Grids, Beats, & Groups

Grids/Beats/Groups will explore techniques for
live electronic performance. Emphasizing
spontaneity and human/machine collaboration, we
will learn to break out of routine and engage
audiences. We will explore classic systems, such
as Roland's "XOX" sequencers, and dub-style live
effects tweaking; as well as contemporary group
interfacing technologies like Ableton Link.
Together, the class will curate and perform in a
live show featuring small group, and solo
performances.
