Description

In this course students will learn how to master
music for digital platforms. We will learn what
mastering is, the history of various mastering
techniques and which modern tools work best for
our individual needs. Through exploring all the
options modern dsp and hardware have to offer, we
will learn how to simplify these options to best
fit our workflow and to make our music sound the
best it can.
Taught by a mastering engineer over 25 years in
the business, John Tejada's client list includes
Ghostly, Warp, Umor Rex, and Brainfeeder. He's
also mastered releases for artists including Paul
Hartnoll (Orbital), Plaid, Geotic, Frank
Bretschneider, Daedalus, Shackleton, and Gudrun
Gut, among others, in styles ranging from
electronic to experimental
Prerequisites: Must have taken "Intro to sound
production" and have a working knowledge of
electronic music production with a DAW or
hardware.

weekly practice and example.

tools used.
3. Learn how to master various genres and styles
4. Master music with confidence and have a true
