Description
Sound design for moving images is a class to
explore the different sound components needed to
create sound design for different types of
projects, mostly focused on moving images, such as
animation, tv, film and audiovisual art
installations, any environment where there is a
visual relationship to the sound, and the sound it
self is not the only component of the artistic
piece. This course is mostly focused in covering
the conceptual and technical aspects of sound in
the related fields, rather than covering
historical aspects.
The course will be focused on understanding and
practicing audio technical skills, while at the
same time will cover artistic approaches to the
different styles where sound design can be
applied. It will be focused on non Dialogue sound
design editing and mixing, but basic Dialog
treatment will be covered.
