Description
This course is an introduction to the world of
electronic sound (and computer music) using the
Max/MSP software and aims to provide a conceptual
understanding of sound synthesis. We'll be
covering basic digital audio concepts such as the
oscillator, additive and subtractive synthesis,
sampling, distortion, frequency modulation,
granular synthesis, and other related topics; all
taught within the Max/MSP visual programming
environment.
