Fundamentals of plectrum and fingerstyle guitar.

and musical vocabulary that will assist any
beginning or self-taught guitarist in having a
sustainable, lifelong relationship with the
instrument. We will work together to discover
healthy approaches to technique, as well as the
basic chord shapes, scales, strumming and
finger-picking patterns that form the foundation
of guitar performance across a variety of styles.
Students can expect to learn song structures,
'riffs', and chord progressions in a number of
genres and from a wide selection of musical eras.
Open to complete beginners, or to self-taught
players who would like to build a solid foundation
around the things they might already know.
