To Exist in Sound Improvised Vocality

Improvised music is alive. It connects you to the
now, a sensory moment created together-space,
players, audience-joined in solidarity. This
course is dedicated to investigating the
possibilities of free vocal improvisation as
experienced through/in the space of the
Internet.Utilizing as inspiration the book of Le
Quan Ninh "Improvising Freely: The ABCS of an
Experience", the group will meet weekly to engage
in reading and discussing this book, improvisation
exercises, DIY simple recordings in outdoor and
indoor spaces, and experiments on how to translate
this improvisatory experience into the virtual
realm.
