This course is open to all students interested in

Students are encouraged to have personal or
collaborative projects in mind prior to attending.

This is NOT a coding class. Computers are only
necessary if you want to use digital tools. All
methods of sound creation are encouraged.

I will provide information and assistance for
getting started with the Electro-Smith Daisy Seed,
however do not feel pressured to go down that
road.
It is highly recommended that you show up the
first day with some sort of realistic concept or
idea, no matter how small.

We'll take plenty of time to brainstorm /
conceptualize / critique throughout the stages of
development.
Minds may change, groups may form etc...

Topics include:
- DIY practices / Creative Strategy (Subversion as
Artistic Practice)
- Signal Flow / Electronics
- Amplification / Sonification
- Digital & Analog Sound Processing & Practices
- Materials
- Construction Methods & Practices
- Message / Medium
- Discreet Practices

Collaborative projects are highly encouraged,
especially if you want to design a Multimedia work
or require a lot of construction.
