Description
Punk, metal, grindcore, powerviolence, and all their glorious sub and sub-sub genres. Ulrich
Krieger and I will tell you about the specific genres we know about and love. I invite
everyone to bring a playlist of songs to share. We're going to sit around and listen to each
others' selections of heavy, fast (or slow), aggressive music on loud excellent speakers,
hopefully in a dimly lit room. We will share our reactions, opinions, and whatever else we
know about them including its history, political/social ideologies, DIY culture, etc. If I can
manage it, I'll bring in some local bands to perform.
