How To: Win a Job! Orchestral Repertoir

An intensive exploration of orchestral excerpts
from standard repertoire found on
excerpt lists for symphony orchestra auditions.
This course will cover audition
preparation and rehearsal/performance etiquette.
Students will spend the first week
studying a minimum of five orchestral excerpts of
their choosing. The second week will
take students through a simulated audition
preparation process which will culminate in
an adjudicated "mock audition" with screened
playing, video tape and guest
adjudicators.
