Building Interactive Audiovisual System

Through this course, we will cover basic visual
programming structures through polyphony, Matrix,
and strengthening understandings of multichannel
sound synthesis. The first week will break down
the fundamentals of jitter and the second week
will cover connecting Matrix to audio. The course
will complete with audio-visual art that the
students will ideally utilize in their artistic
praxis. Beyond following along, students will be
encouraged to think independently and create
dynamic patches individually and/or in small
groups from the tools outlined.Open to all
schools. Introductory knowledge of MAX/MSP or
visual programming is required.
