Improvisation: Uses and Cross-Cultural Lineage
This class will explore the nature of
improvisation in all its forms-Indian music,
flamenco, baroque, organ music, rock, jazz,
contemporary, and "free" music. The class
integrates material from a wide variety of
sources and the visual & performing arts, natural
& social sciences, Eastern & Western spiritual
traditions.
