Description
While sound walks guide the attention of audience
members to the sounding reality of their immediate
surroundings, audio walks constitute a simple form
of augmented reality where audience members listen
to audio through headphones while walking through
a predetermined environment.
In this course, we will explore the acoustic
qualities and dominant sounds of the main building
and the CalArts campus. Based on this experience,
we will create both sound and audio walks that are
site-specific to this environment.
