Description
This inaugural launch of the intersection between
ancient and new forms is a year-long course. Paths
will be re-traced along the Silk Road hundreds of
years before, works rehearsed and performed on
Persian and Western instruments alongside genres
developed in North America in the early 1990s
still to this day known as the indefinable
"Electronica", tracing techniques and esthetics
from artists such as Martin Garrix, Plaid, Aphex
Twin, Autechre; performed with live sampling of
ancient instruments on machines that mangle,
de-construct and splice back together new
