Multi-Focus Ensemble

This is a course for ensembles that are entirely
initiated, organized and run by
students. The personnel, repertoire and rehearsal
times and places are decided by
ensemble members. In order for members to receive
credit, the ensemble needs to be coached by one or
more Faculty members of students' choice and it
has to give at least one CalArts public
performance of at least one substantial piece. Any
style of music and any combination of 2 or more
musicians is valid.
