Written work will include the preparation of bios, artist statements, resumes, letters of inquiry, proposals, etc. We will assemble materials for auditions, video submissions, and create reels specific to the student's career goals. We will research auditions and other professional opportunities, and create a personalized calendar to reach clearly articulated objectives.
In-class hours may be used for guest artist, faculty, and/or student rehearsals, project planning, and physical, academic, and/or professional research, and must be set aside as such for successful completion of this course. Full participation in culminating project performances are required.
