The Implicit Body

This graduate level studio course explores the collisions and entanglements of technology and the human body, offering students an opportunity to create interactive and immersive installations and performances through movement, space and time. Visual programming biosensors, projection mapping, webcams, spatialized sound and computer vision will be explored. Utilizing the programming language, TouchDesigner, participants will learn to extract data from their own bodies to make interactive artworks that responds to and critiques physical and temporal presence through perceptual states of becoming.
