Description
This course provides an introduction to the
process of modern web development. Each student
will learn the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
and how to combine them into a functioning
portfolio website. Students will learn how to work
with rich media sources, create dynamic
animations, and deploy content to the web using
free and open source tools. In addition, students
will explore modern development tools like Github,
Visual Studio Code, CMS (content management
systems) like Wordpress, Contentful and others. We
will also explore how to deploy virtual machines
(VM's) on cloud servers (Google, Amazon AWS) to
host our web applications and infrastructure.
Furthermore, throughout the course, students will
also gain essential skills in uploading, managing,
and analyzing media content online, enabling them
to effectively showcase their work and track its
performance in the digital landscape.
