This course explores the intersection of identity politics, intersectionality, and artistic practice. In the first week, we will examine the core concepts of identity politics, focusing on race, queerness, and class. The second week shifts towards understanding the role of creative producers, looking at how their work intersects with politics and societal issues. Through a combination of theoretical readings and case studies of artistic practice, students will gain insight into how identity informs creative production.
