Cinematic Storytelling

Course available by permission instructor. An expansive course in writing for narrative film; this course uses various modes throughout to consider story and character development and discuss how one writes for various types of narrative film work. It is a generative class and students should expect to develop several significant project ideas. Students should also expect to be actively involved in regular writing prompts and to actively engage in a critical community of makers. The course will use examples from contemporary narrative practitioners as models for the development of narrative work.
