Description
Combat for Stage and Film will be an introduction
to Stage Combat. This will be a crash course that
will focus on the basics of choreographing and
performing fight scenes. Starting with staging for
a theatre audience, and then having to adjust the
same fight for film. The first week of this course
will focus purely on Unarmed Combat and the second
week will focus on Sword and Knife fighting. The
students will learn basics moves, be asked to
safely stage a quick fight with a partner and then
present it to the entire class.
