This course, taught by Graduate Teaching
Assistants, focuses on coordination, functional
alignment, clarity of line, French terminology,
musicality, and cultivating strength and
flexibility. Students will be introduced to
elementary barre and center work. No prior
experience in dance is required. This class is
offered once a week. This course is open to the
Institute; please register for the correct
