Description
Open to Dance School Students only. This course
focuses on understanding how the dancer's mind
works, in an effort to become a more effect tool
for any choreographer/creator. It also aims to
develop a dancer's sense of self-awareness,
strengths and weaknesses, and abilities for
learning steps quickly, efficiently and
effectively. Students must be able to execute
physically demanding choreography with a
sophisticated understanding of aesthetic, context
and performance quality. Students will be
expected to produce artifacts that visualize
various lessons, read from a text, and answer
direct questions.
